about

I've freshly finished playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution. My mind is blown to smithereens; the concept, storyline, characters, message of the game, everything just adds up. This is a complete life changer. I'm not one to speak in clichés usually, but I'm all a different person now. What adds to it is the soundtrack. This game is what I can relate myself to, in bits and pieces, or even as a whole. The track 'Home' by Michael McCann, from the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Original Soundtrack is the main inspiration behind this song. 'Home' itself is a very miserable, depressive and sad a track. I'd love to explain you why it is that way, but I'd very much recommend you to play the game instead to get what it is all about. And so I figure I might make my own similar track to that.
This doesn't even sound like a Kashya track. What started as a mostly Warm Drone / ambient project, has now taken a swift turn into something more 36 like (36 is an ambient artist). Also drew inspiration from 36. His album 'Hypersona' was legendary and to this day I can listen to it without a pause.
I can't recall why I used this title for the song. I really can't.
